Reviews and Ratings
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. On the one hand, the construction work going on made it slightly inconvenient to relax in the room, and there was a need for refurbishing and improved cleanliness. On the other hand, the assistance from the staff was exceptional and truly made a difference during my stay.
The hotel's rooms were a bit outdated and advertised with 2 beds and a fully equipped kitchenette, but they looked tired. The staff were friendly and polite, making my stay welcoming, especially for me and my two dogs. However, the lack of quality in the location made it a bit of a trek into town for meals, although it's conveniently close to Vieux Port with reasonably priced parking, perfect for visitors driving to La Rochelle. The dining experience was good but required a reservation, and the facilities were only fine.
The hotel had spacious and comfortable rooms with a fully equipped kitchen, though the bathroom could have been cleaner. The service was excellent, with very friendly and helpful staff, except for the noise of ambulances going to the nearby hospital. The location was ideal for our needs, being close to the hospital, but the noise from emergency vehicles was a downside. The dining experience was average, and the breakfast was a bit boring. The facilities were good overall.
The hotel offers a nice kitchenette in the room, with a fridge and outside space to lock items during the day. The room size with a king bed was good although a bit tired. It is ideal for guests making their own breakfast in the room. The location is convenient, especially for short stays in La Rochelle with nearby parking options. The dining experience was considered good value for money. The service was praised for being very helpful and pleasant.
The hotel is conveniently located just outside the old port, offering reasonably clean rooms. The service was super helpful and friendly, although there were occasional ambulance sirens due to the nearby hospital. The dining experience was average, and the overall value for money was fair.
The hotel may have its drawbacks, such as a poor appearance and small rooms, but it makes up for it with helpful service and a good location near the Vieux Port. The dining experience may not be worth the cost, but the rooms are reasonably clean, and the hotel offers assistance with baggage, making it convenient for visitors.
